First rough cut? Done!
About a month ago my editor dropped the first rough cut of my Foo Fighters documentary Out of the Wishing Well on my plate. Nervous? YES! Excited? YES! The result? Happiness! I’m thrilled to say that the first of many edits is looking awesome. Not Til Now - Introducing 300 people to Out of the Wishing Well
Speaking in front of nearly 300 people for the first time was a moment I’ll never forget! I love public speaking, but this was definitely the largest group I've ever been in front of. As I stepped onto the stage, I felt the same excitement I used to feel waiting for a Foo Fighters concert to begin—senses heightened, fully present, smiling and happy. One by One
Principal photography has just about wrapped for Out of the Wishing Well. I'll say "done" for now with a chance for some pick up shots or some small ideas that come along during the editing process. Speaking of editing.... editing has started! I wish I could say editing was the last thing needing to be done... but there's also visual effects, color grading, sound/score and bunch of other little things. Almost done shooting!
Principal photography is close to being done! It's been a tiring few weeks balancing a day job with doing a small Foo Fighters documentary (hopefully coming in early 2026).
