Still Here. Still Grinding. Still Grateful.

Creating a documentary is a journey. And when you're doing it solo—on a tight budget—it can feel like climbing a mountain barefoot (or stepping on your kids legos). But here's the good news: I'm still here. Still working, still refining, and more fired up than ever about what’s taking shape! I just had a great phone call with my cinematographer. We are fired up and going to make this happen! (Also helps my cinematographer is one of my best friends!)

Out of the Wishing Well started as a passion project—something I had to do. The Foo Fighters have been a soundtrack to so many moments in my life, and this film is my way of honoring that. But turning raw footage, notes, and memories into a story that does justice to the band (and to the fans who love them) is no small task. Especially when you’re the writer, director, producer, editor, and everything in between (And holding everything together with a few dollars and cents!) (Thank God for one of my best friends, Sean, for jumping in to help with a lot of this!).

That said—progress has been steady. The story arc is clearer. The pacing is tighter. The vibe is dialed in. What felt chaotic at times is finally clicking into place.

There are days where it feels like too much—but then I’ll hit a breakthrough in an idea, rediscover a moment in the back of my brain, or just blast “Bridges Burning” and remember why I started this in the first place. And when I think about what the final version is going to be—I get excited. I get grateful.

So if you’ve been following this project, thank you. If this is your first time here—welcome. There’s more to come. And I truly believe the end result will be something special.

Keep an eye out. The well is filling up!

Rock on friends!
